Overview
Beijing University of Agriculture (BUA) was founded in 1979 and is located in Beijing, a vital multicultural city offering both the hustle and bustle of modern living and the serene tranquility of yesteryear. The university, originally under the supervision of the Beijing Municipal People's Government, became a university under the jurisdiction of the Beijing Government in 2000. It is one of the '211 Project' key constructions, and one of the universities jointly built by the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries and the Beijing Municipal Government. It is also one of the members of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaborative Innovation Alliance of Modern Agriculture Industry Technology System.
