Abant Izzet Baysal University (AIBU) is a distinguished state university that was named after its benefactor, Izzet Baysal. AIBU started as a higher education institute under the body of Ankara University, and it became an independent university in 1992. Since its inception, AIBU has been contributing immensely to the education and development of students who have made significant contributions to science, technology, social structures, and creative arts. AIBU has 15 faculties offering undergraduate and graduate programs in natural sciences, engineering and architecture, medicine, health sciences, humanities, and social sciences. Besides, the university has 3 institutes, 1 school, and 9 vocational schools. With its qualified staff and well-equipped facilities, AIBU provides a conducive environment for studies and research.
