Al-Jouf University is based in Saudi Arabia, its main campus located in Sakaka. It also has other campuses in various Saudi Arabian towns including Qurayyat, and Tubarjal. Since its establishment in 2005, the university has kept growing. It now boasts of about 27,000 students enrolled in various undergraduate and graduate programs.

Al Jouf University, located in Sakaka, is a public university that was initially founded as a community college in 1998. It was later elevated to university status in 2005 by royal decree. The university was established to service the educational and research needs in the Al Jouf province. Al Jouf University has seven faculties including faculties for Sciences, Medical Sciences, Pharmacy, Computer Science & Engineering, Applied Medical Sciences, Business Administration, and the faculty for Dentistry. The university aims at producing high-quality graduates that can contribute fruitfully towards the national developments of Saudi Arabia by providing high-quality education and world-class research opportunities. Al-Jouf University welcomes students from different nationalities, fostering an international cultural exchange and providing opportunities to experience Saudi culture.
