Alexandria University (AU) is a public institution located in Alexandria, one of Egypt's largest cities. It was founded in 1938 as a satellite institution of Cairo University, becoming independent in 1942. Today, AU accommodates over 150,000 students across a diverse range of programs.

The university consists of 23 faculties, 5 institutes, and 7 research centers, spanning across Alexandria, Aswan, and Matrouh Governorates.
