Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM), as one of the earliest established institutions of higher education of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) of the People’s Republic of China, has developed into a comprehensive educational institution offering programs on diverse yet related disciplines including Chinese medicine, Acupuncture and Tuina, integrating medicine, teaching and scientific research. It boasts of a rich teaching staff, advanced teaching facilities and a perfect teaching system, with its influence reaching far beyond the nationwide.The university has 13 schools and offers 16 undergraduate programs, 35 master programs, 24 doctorate programs and 1 post-doctorate mobile station and 1 post-doctorate mobile working station. The number of faculty and staff is over 1000, of which over 800 are professionals of teaching or medical treatment.
