Overview
Beijing Wuzi University (BWU) was established as a full-time general higher education institution approved by Beijing Municipal Education Commission in 1980. Originally it was named Beijing College of Material Management specifically serving the Capital Iron and Steel Corporation. Now it has established a systematic and comprehensive discipline system which covers economics, administration, engineering, law, literature, and science, primarily focusing on the under-graduation education while actively developing the post-graduation education. BWU has a faculty of 921 teachers, including 414 full-time teachers, and the student population is over 11,000. BWU pays great importance to international academic exchanges and has established partnerships with institutions in more than 20 countries such as Japan, South Korea, Germany, Australia, Canada, and the United States.
