Overview

Established in 2001 by the BRAC group (Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee), the largest non-governmental development organisation in the world, BRAC University sits on an 5-acre campus in Mohakhali, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The university offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs. BRACU has a diverse faculty base with around 200 full time faculty members who come from around the world with different specialisations. The institution aims towards inclusive and high-quality education by incorporating innovative teaching methods, ensuring effective learning outcome. Besides, students are highly encouraged to participate in national and international competitions and events for enhancing their global awareness and competitiveness. A lot of important research work is undertaken at the university and students are highly encouraged to involve in such activities for an effective and applied learning experience.
