Founded in 1949, the Central University of Finance and Economics (CUFE) is one of the leading comprehensive research universities with the most distinctive features of discipline in management and economics in China. Its history can be traced back to the Department of Economics, Central University in Nanjing which was established as far back as 1921. CUFE currently has 16 secondary schools that offer 37 undergraduate majors, 2 first-level and 16 second-level PhD programs. Furthermore, they offer 115 Master's programs and 12 post-doctoral stations. CUFE prides itself on its focus on academic research in economics and management, aiming to be an influence both nationally and internationally. In recent years, the school has improved its educational concept, quality, and competitiveness significantly.
