The Chengdu University of Information Technology (CUIT), established in 1951, is a full-time public university located in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. It is one of the early 21 key universities and the only university of science and technology in the national 211 project in the Sichuan Province. It specializes in the fields of meteorology, environmental science, and information technology. It boasts five state-level specialty majors and five provincial demonstration software colleges. More than 23,000 full-time students currently attend CUIT, and its teaching faculty consists of over 2,000 members.
