Established in 1946, China West Normal University (CWNU) is one of the first normal universities set up in China. It has always stayed true to its founding mission of generating competent and dedicated educators. Currently, the university offers 71 undergraduate majors, 30 master's degree programs, and 2 doctoral degree programs, spanning disciplines such as literature, history, education, science, engineering, management, law, economics, art, and many more. CWNU takes pride in its strong faculty, with over 1,100 full-time teachers, of whom more than 520 are professors and associate professors.
