The Chongqing University of Education (CQUE), established in 1951, is a full-time public undergraduate institution of higher learning which was approved by the Ministry of Education. Located in the colorful city of Chongqing, it covers an area of more than 1,500 mu, and comprises two campuses: the main campus and the city campus in Chongqing. CQUE has gained a good reputation for its success in running a university with characteristics and has established over 60 majors which range from bachelor to master degrees. With a current enrollment of over 14,600 full-time students, CQUE is dedicated to cultivating comprehensive, innovative, international and civic-minded professionals who are competent and responsible.
