Coastal Carolina University (CCU) is a dynamic, public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, South Carolina, just minutes from the resort area of Myrtle Beach. Established under independent governance in 1993 and with its roots dating back to 1954, CCU has grown rapidly both in size and reputation. The university offers more than 70 fields of study toward the baccalaureate degree, 18 master’s degree programs, two Educational Specialist degrees, and two doctoral programs. The most popular undergraduate majors include marine science, management, exercise and sports science, communication, and psychology.
