De Montfort University (DMU) is a public university in Leicester, East Midlands, England. Established in 1992, DMU offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to over 27,000 students from around the world, providing a vibrant, multicultural learning environment.

De Montfort University (DMU), based in Leicester, is a diverse and supportive community of around 27,000 students, 3,240 staff, and 175,000 alumni across the world. The university offers a wide variety of courses, with a foundation in offering a blend of theoretical and practical learning. DMU comprises four faculties: Art, Design, and Humanities; Business and Law; Health and Life Sciences; and Computing, Engineering, and Media. DMU was designated as a Global Hub for Sustainable Development Goal 16 by United Nations, recognizing their commitment to inclusivity, equality, peace, justice, and strong institutions. Additionally, the university offers a transformative experience through DMU Global, DMU Works, and DMU Local initiatives, which provide international experiences, employability skills, and opportunities to make a positive impact on society. DMU was also named the first-ever University of the Year for Social Inclusion by The Sunday Times Good University Guide.
