Founded in 2005, Duke-NUS Medical School is a collaboration between Duke University in North Carolina, USA, and the National University of Singapore. The mission of the school is to provide innovative medical education, pioneering research, and dedicated service to society in improving healthcare. The school follows a modern American medical curriculum, that has been adapted to the Singapore context and provides a graduate-entry medical programme. The faculty comprises of both local and international experts, striving not just to advance medicine but to propel it towards new horizons. Duke-NUS is distinct from other medical schools in Singapore and internationally in offering a full-time, four-year comprehensive and rigorous MD program based on a unique 'Clinicians First, Clinicians Plus' strategy.
