Overview
Guangdong Pharmaceutical University (GPhU) is located in Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong Province. The university covers an area of about 50 hectares with different campuses. The university is composed of several colleges that offer over 50 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. Some of the programs offered by the university include pharmacy, Chinese pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, nursing, public health and more. The university has a staff of nearly 1200, of which over 600 are professors and associate professors. There are over 26,000 students studying at the university, of which over 600 are international students from over 30 countries. The university has around 80 laboratories and a central laboratory which carries out various research in drug discovery, pharmacy, and much more. The university has an overall mission to cultivate international and professional talents who will make significant contributions to the modernization of global pharmaceutical health and research.
