Gdańsk University of Technology (Polish: Politechnika Gdańska) is a technical university in Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz, and one of the oldest universities in Poland. It has nine faculties and with 41 fields of study and more than 26 thousand undergraduate, as well as about 400 doctoral students.

Gdansk University of Technology (pol. Politechnika Gdanska (PG)) is a state university assuming a prominent role in the Pomeranian educational system. Founded in 1904, it counted among the five largest schools of technology in Germany. Its faculty included several Nobel Prize laureates. After the World War II, it established itself as an indomitable research institution and an educational backbone of the Polish industry.
