Founded in 1956, Henan Institute of Technology (HIT) is located in Xinxiang, a city known as the cradle of high-temperature mechanical components for locomotives in China. The university provides undergraduate and graduate education in fields including Science, Engineering, Economics, Management, Liberal Arts, Law, and Art Design. HIT has been granted the right to confer MBA and Engineering master degrees, and has two doctorate programs in Material Processing Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Covering a total area of 2,000 mu, HIT has 20 schools, 58 undergraduate majors, and over 30,000 students.
