Founded in 1948, Henan University of Economics and Law (HUEL) is located in Zhengzhou, the capital city of Henan Province. The university has over 35,000 full-time students and offers 56 undergraduate programs, 65 postgraduate programs, and 9 doctoral programs. HUEL boasts two campuses which together cover an area of 267 hectares. It is celebrated for being the first higher educational institution in the province where business and economics were both major fields of study. The institution is known for its strong faculty of over 1600 working staff members, including distinguished professors, associate professors, and foreign teachers who are passionate about the disciplines of economics, management, law, literature, science, engineering, art, and education which are taught here. HUEL is a key player in the development of legal education in Henan province and a major contributor to the economic development in central China.
