Huizhou University (HU) is a public, full-time undergraduate institution in Guangdong Province, China. It was established in 1978 and offers a wide range of programs in various disciplines like engineering, art, science, education and business management. HU focuses on fostering talents to contribute to the social and economic growth of China.

Overview

Huizhou University is a prominent university in southern China. It operates under the direct jurisdiction of the Guangdong Provincial Government and the Department of Education. After 40 years of development, Huizhou University covers an area of about 1500 acres and has 1.35 million square meters of built-up area. It has 17 departments and four attached schools or departments, and offers 64 undergraduate programs. The university library houses 2.61 million volumes of books. The university attaches great importance to scientific research and has established a series of research institutions and platforms. In recent years, scientific research funds have doubled in size and the university has been awarded numerous provincial-, ministerial- and national-level scientific research achievements. As an active participant in international cooperation and exchanges, Huizhou University has established cooperative relations with universities and research institutions in dozens of countries.
