Founded in 1989, Ibn Tofaïl University (UIT) is a public institution located in the city of Kénitra, Morocco. It is the seventh university created in Morocco and is named after the philosopher, doctor and Andalusian poet, Ibn Tofaïl. With an emphasis on sciences and humanities, UIT is a vibrant community that fosters a culture of social responsibility, research innovation, and academic excellence. Housing 5 faculties and 2 schools, the university hosts about 85,000 students annually offering various academic programs spanning social sciences, sciences and humanities, Economics, Law and Social Sciences, sciences and techniques. UIT is committed to contributing to the socio-economic and cultural development of Morocco and beyond.
