Overview
Inner Mongolia Agricultural University (IMAU) was originally built on the campus of the former Beiyang University in Hohhot. The university focuses on offering specialized training in agricultural and animal husbandry programs, veterinary medicine, and other similar disciplines. IMAU actively collaborates with more than 30 universities around the world to facilitate teaching, scientific research, and cultural exchanges. Furthermore, IMAU has centers for post-doctoral studies and offers master's and doctorate programs in several fields. The university boasts libraries that house millions of books, a state key laboratory, a lab under the Ministry of Agriculture, and over two dozen research institutes, all aimed at providing a conducive learning and research environment for students and faculty.
