Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) is one of the most prestigious medical universities in Iran and the Middle East. It was established in 1974. The university offers a variety of programs including medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, midwifery, health sciences and management, allied medical sciences, rehabilitation sciences, and traditional medicine. It has a faculty of over 700 distinguished members, and accommodates more than 9,000 students from all over Iran. It has seven hospitals and 28 research centers in various fields of medicine. The main goal of IUMS is to raise health standards by providing high-quality professional training in the field of health and medical sciences, and through its research centers, contribute to the country's health and wellbeing.
