Overview

Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (JXUTCM) is an academic institution committed to the preservation and advancement of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Established in 1959, it's part of the first wave of TCM institutions founded in the People's Republic of China. Hugh in a global perspective, it offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels of study in areas ranging from TCM pharmacy to acupuncture. With approximately 20,000 students, it has campuses in both Nanchang and Jingdezhen. JXUTCM features both modern TCM education and research facilities, as well as a unique TCM botanical garden boasting over 600 medicinal plant species. The university also runs three affiliated hospitals and several teaching hospitals, further expanding its reach in the TCM sector.
