Karabük University is a state university that was established on 29 May 2007 as a result of the Law number 5662 on the separation of Kastamonu University's affiliated schools in Karabük. With over 50,000 students, the university has thirteen faculties, ranging from the Faculty of Forestry to the Faculty of Medicine, and four graduate schools offering postgraduate degree programs. It has made a name for itself in the higher education sector in a short time with its investments in qualified education, social opportunities, and scientific research.
