Kasetsart University, fondly known as KU, is a leading public research university located in Bangkok, Thailand. Established in 1943, the university is widely recognized for its exceptional research and teaching in agriculture and forestry. It has expanded to cover other academic disciplines as well.

Overview

Kasetsart University is Thailand's third oldest university and has a reputation for excellent delivery of academic programs and research, especially in the field of agriculture. Its student body is comprised of around 67,000 students across its multiple campuses, making it one of the largest universities in Thailand. With an aim to create graduates who have the necessary knowledge and skills to work anywhere in the world, Kasetsart guarantees each student the access to an engaging, innovative and technology-rich campus experience that prepares them to excel in a globalized world. It represents a large and diverse research community involved in scientific disciplines including agro-industry, veterinary technology, architecture, business administration, culture, economics, and social sciences. In the 2023 QS World University Rankings, Kasetsart University hasn't been featured yet. However, considering its continuous significant contributions to academia and society, it is likely to gain global recognition soon.
