Since inception in 1949, Kindai University, formerly Kinki University, has developed into one of Japan's leading comprehensive universities with a broad-based educational experience across a spectrum of disciplines. It has twenty faculties with around twelve hundred teaching staff and approximately twenty-five thousand students from across Japan and the world.
