Since inception in 1949, Kindai University, formerly Kinki University, has developed into one of Japan's leading comprehensive universities with a broad-based educational experience across a spectrum of disciplines. It has twenty faculties with around twelve hundred teaching staff and approximately twenty-five thousand students from across Japan and the world. With the goal of fostering global knowledge citizens, KU focuses on creating an educational environment that stimulates independent thinking and cultivates a can-do spirit. It offers a vast array of programs including Engineering, Business Administration, Literature, Medicine, and more. It promotes its ideologies by carrying out practical research and innovative exploration to adapt to the progressing society and challenging complexities of the world. The University’s research output and impressive student-to-staff ratio rank it among the top institutions in Japan.
