The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is a public university that has clearly defined its mission to provide the leader of Ghana with an institution dedicated to the provision of quality learning, advancement of research, and development in science and technology. KNUST today is home to a population of over 40,000 students, local and international, engaged in various academic programs in the six colleges of the institution. The university is recognized both locally and internationally as a leader in research and innovation in science, engineering, and technology programs. KNUST has over 950 academic staffs who are committed to teaching and research work. The ideology of KNUST is to readdress the Ghanaian socio-economic challenges with scientific and technological skills acquired.
