Nanjing University of Science and Technology

Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST), located in Nanjing, is one of the national key universities under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China. It is a comprehensive university with science and engineering as its focus, with balanced development of multiple disciplines like science, engineering, literature, economics, management, law, education, fine arts and music.

Overview

Nanjing University of Science and Technology, founded in 1953, is one of the earliest institutions of higher learning of PR China to establish the discipline of systems engineering. It is well known for its rigorous academic environment, extensive international exchanges and cooperation. The university is one of those universities in China that first entered the ranks for national science and technology projects and the 211 Project for priority, and as well as a member of Excellent Union implementing the training program for excellent engineers. It has 17 academic colleges, with over 30,000 full-time students currently enrolled, including more than 2,000 international students.
