Ningxia University

Ningxia University, located in Yinchuan, China, is a comprehensive institution of higher learning with strong emphases on agricultural and natural resource sciences. Established in 1958, it started as a blend of former Ningxia College and Ningxia Agricultural College. Today, it is renowned for its research and development in specialised fields.

Ningxia University, founded in 1958, is a comprehensive university co-built by the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and the Ministry of Education of China. The university offers a well-rounded education in humanities, sciences, engineering, medical helth, agriculture, business, law, education, economics, management, and art. It currently has over 24,000 both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The university comprises 24 colleges and 2 basic departments. The campus covers an area of about 2224 acres with the construction area of 1.1 million square meters. Ningxia University has also established academic cooperation and exchange with over 40 universities and institutions in 10 countries and regions. The university is dedicated to cultivating talents with all-around moral, intellectual, physical, and aesthetical development, and to serving the local economic and social development.
