Overview
Northwest A&F University (NWAFU) is a national key comprehensive university directly under the jurisdiction of Chinese Ministry of Education. The history of NWAFU can be traced back to 1934 when National Northwest Senior College of Agriculture and Forestry was established. The University consists of 23 colleges with 79 undergraduate programs covering agriculture, science, engineering, economics, management, arts and education. As of 2021, the University has a teaching and research staff of 3,133, including 2 members of Chinese Academy of Engineering. The University has also made significant achievements in scientific research in the fields of agriculture, forestry and water science.
