Reichman University

Reichman University, formerly known as IDC Herzliya, is a private research university in Herzliya, Israel. It is known for its entrepreneurial spirit and a unique model of higher education. It was founded by Uriel Reichman based on the model of the American Ivy League universities.

Reichman University, or 'Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya', as it was initially known, was established in 1994 by Professor Uriel Reichman, who envisioned an Israeli university that would bring the pioneering spirit of Zionism into the realm of higher education.
