Riga Technical University (RTU) is one of the oldest higher education institutions in Latvia, having been established in 1862. RTU is known for its innovations and research in science, engineering, economics, and architectural fields. With its modern campus located in the heart of Riga, the university offers a culturally rich and diverse environment for both local and international students. Hosting approximately 14,500 students, it is also one of the biggest universities in the country. RTU has six faculties that offer bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs in various fields of study. Riga Technical University also promotes the transfer of technological and scientific discoveries to industry, playing a leading role in the sustainability and development of the country and region.
