Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL), is a public research university in Egham, Surrey. Best known for its high-quality education, beautiful campus, and vibrant student life, it was established by two social pioneers who sought to create a higher education institution that was accessible to women.

Royal Holloway, University of London is one of the UK's leading research-intensive universities, with 21 academic departments spanning the arts and humanities, sciences, social sciences, management, economics and law. It was founded in 1886 by philanthropist Thomas Holloway and Queen Victoria officially opened it as a women's university. In later years, it started admitting men. The university boasts a 135-acre campus, considered one of the most beautiful in the world, that features a mixture of historic and modern buildings, a stunning chapel, and a picture gallery containing Thomas Holloway's collection of Victorian paintings. From the day students join Royal Holloway, they become part of a close-knit community, with diverse events, societies, volunteering opportunities and a Students’ Union.
