Founded in Jinan in 1950, Shandong Normal University (SDNU) has stayed true to its original aspiration and kept its mission firmly in mind for more than 70 years. Enhancing its educational quality to cultivate innovative talents of high caliber, it has developed into a comprehensive, normal, and research-oriented university based in Shandong, facing the whole country, and reaching out to the world. SDNU comprises 23 colleges, a graduate school, a Nursing Vocational Technical College, an Affiliated Middle School, and two Affiliated Primary Schools, which offer a wide range of programs in humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, etc. The university is a center for knowledge, research, culture, and innovation.
