Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE), formerly known as Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade (SIFT), is a public university in Shanghai, China. Founded in 1960, SUIBE is one of the earliest institutions specializing in business and economics in China, providing distinctive education in the fields of international business, economics, and trade. The university has made a significant contribution to the nation's economic reform and opening-up and has cultivated tens of thousands of professionals in international business and economics.
