Founded in 1958, Shaoguan University is located in the historical and cultural city of Shaoguan, at the northern part of Guangdong province. The university has 23 colleges and faculties offering 70 undergraduate disciplines including Literature, Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Science, Education, Economics, Management, Arts and Physical Education, much fulfilling the demands of the modern education system. Currently, the university has about 20,000 students and it has a teaching and administrative staff of over 1,800.
