Established in 1946, Shiraz University (SU) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in Shiraz, a city rich in cultural heritage in the southern Fars province of Iran. Officially accredited and recognized by the Ministry of Science Research and Technology of Iran, SU is a large (UniRank enrollment range: over-45,000 students) coeducational higher education institution. SU offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. It also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, sports facilities and activities, financial aids and scholarships, as well as administrative services.
