Overview

Skoltech is a unique English-speaking international university that was created in 2011 in a joint initiative by Russian and US leaders in science and technology to educate global leaders in innovation, advance scientific knowledge and foster new technologies to tackle critical global issues and to build a bridge between advanced and emerging economies. Skoltech is situated in Skolkovo, a modern area often called the 'Russian Silicon Valley'. The institute emphasizes strong collaborative research capabilities, fostering partnerships with leading Russian and international high-tech companies and integrates them into student programs. It offers Master’s and PhD programs that have been developed in collaboration with MIT.
