South China Agricultural University (SCAU) is one of the key universities directly affiliated to the Ministry of Education. As a member, it's one of the leading universities engaging in the Project 21 for the 21st century. Its predecessor was the College of Agriculture of Guangdong Province founded in 1909. Now, SCAU has developed itself into a multi-disciplinary university comprising of agriculture, engineering, humanities, science, economics, management, law and education, offering a wide range of programs and courses.
