Sylhet Agricultural University

Established in 2006, Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the city of Sylhet. Officially recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh, SAU is a medium-sized coeducational higher education institution. SAU offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. The programs have been designed to bring out and foster the qualities of leadership and integrity in the graduates and expose them to contemporary issues of agricultural and rural development of Bangladesh. SAU makes significant contributions to the development of individuals and the welfare of agriculture through its educational programs. The university has six faculties and 43 departments covering all aspects of agricultural education and research.
