Tarleton State University
Tarleton State University (TSU) is a public, coeducational, state university located in Stephenville, Texas and is a member of the Texas A&M University System. Established in 1899, TSU offers programs including agriculture, nursing, music, medical technology, mathematical data mining, and some engineering areas.
Overview
Tarleton State University was established in 1899 and it became a part of the Texas A&M University System in 1917. TSU is home to the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, the College of Business Administration, the College of Education, the College of Health and Human Services, the College of Liberal and Fine Arts, and the College of Science and Technology. The campus has State-of-the-art teaching and research facilities, including a new Agricultural Field Machinery and Fabrication Laboratory, a new Nursing Building, and a new Hydrology Laboratory. TSU pushes the boundaries of knowledge by conducting cutting-edge research in areas such as vector borne disease, water resource science, agricultural sustainability, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
