The Technical University of Crete (TUC) is a state university under the supervision of the Greek Ministry of Education & Religious Affairs and consists of five academic engineering departments. It focuses on a strong engagement in high level research and top-quality teaching.

Overview

Since its establishment in 1977, the Technical University of Crete has been putting its main emphasis on science, engineering, and economic management at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It is a pioneering institution, with international collaborations and reputation. The academic staff are highly skilled and specialized, involved deeply in innovative research and teaching. The university campus is modern, well-equipped, and located in the northern part of the city of Chania. TUC has about 2,400 students enrolled and offers innovative undergraduate and postgraduate programs, while conducting remarkable scientific research. It consistently ranks high among Greek universities in terms of research productivity, impact and quality.
