Established in 1969, the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is a public institution dedicated to health sciences. Located in Lubbock, Texas, it comprises of five schools. Besides main campus, TTUHSC has campuses in Abilene, Amarillo, Dallas, Midland and Odessa.

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is a multi-campus institution based in Lubbock, with additional campuses located in Abilene, Amarillo, Dallas, Midland, and Odessa. The University offers a wide range of health-related programs in five different schools: Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, School of Health Professions, School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and School of Pharmacy. TTUHSC's main mission is to improve the health of the people by providing the highest level of patient care, increase the knowledge in health and disease through research, and prepare health care providers for the future. It has a student population of more than 5000 students and employs over 1000 faculty members.
