The Chinese University of Hong Kong
Known as CUHK, The Chinese University of Hong Kong is a public research university in Shatin, Hong Kong. Officially founded in 1963, it is one of the first institutions in Hong Kong to offer comprehensive tertiary education.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is a forward-looking comprehensive research university with a global vision and a mission to combine tradition with modernity, and to bring together China and the West. CUHK is the only university in Hong Kong that offers a collegiate system, providing a rich campus life for its students. The University has eight faculties - Arts, Business Administration, Education, Engineering, Law, Medicine, Science, and Social Science; and the Graduate School. There are altogether about 61 undergraduate programmes and about 135 postgraduate programmes. Different colleges have their own unique cultures and traditions, enhancing the all-round development of students, especially their personal growth and leadership skills. Dedicated to the founding mission of promoting bilingualism and multiculturalism, CUHK is a research-intensive comprehensive university, providing quality whole-person education enriched by its unique college system.
