Trinity College Dublin, established in 1592, is one of the seven ancient universities of Britain and Ireland. It’s the most prestigious university in Ireland, offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. TCD is noted for its legal depositary library (the Library), which is Ireland's largest library. The academics at the university are divided into three faculties, namely, the faculties of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences; the faculty of Engineering, Mathematics and Science; and the faculty of Health Sciences. Trinity proudly nurtures a student body of 17,000 with students from over 120 countries, promoting a diverse and inclusive learning atmosphere. The alumni base boasts world acclaimed personalities like authors Oscar Wilde and Bram Stoker, physicist Ernest Walton and former President of Ireland Mary Robinson.
