Established in the year 2000, The Universite de Tunis El Manar (UTM) is a public educational entity governed by the Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry in Tunisia. It consists of 21 institutions divided among faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dental Medicine, Sciences, Mathematics, Physics and Natural Sciences and the Institutes of Computer Science, Nutrition, Labour Law and Industrial Relations, Finance and Taxation. Several research units, doctorate schools and higher schools are also a part of UTM, allowing for higher educational levels. The UTM community is diverse, with approximately 25,000 students, 1,875 teachers, and 1,375 administrative and support staff. The university's research priority is mainly in the fields of Science and Technology. UTM aims to provide a conducive environment for scientific students and researchers, ensuring the acquisition of high academic knowledge and skills, at the same time making significant contributions to the country and the world.
