UConn is recognized for its research in health, the environment, and human rights. UConn's main campus in Storrs includes a variety of housing, dining, and recreational options. Student organizations, Greek life, athletics, and performing arts are among the many extra-curricular activities available to students. UConn's successful athletic program is a major source of campus pride and has produced a number of successful professional athletes.
