University of Delhi, also known as Delhi University, is one of the oldest universities in India and is known for its high academic standards, diverse courses, and excellent faculty members. It has been a pioneer in offering courses related to humanities, commerce, science and technology.

Established in 1922, the University of Delhi is a non-profit public higher education institution located in New Delhi, India. It offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor, master, and doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 98-year-old institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. The University of Delhi has many colleges and institutes spread all over the Delhi region providing a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The university is home to more than 132,000 students from different parts of the world. The academic staff includes approximately 800 members.
