Established in 1975, University of Maribor (UM) is Slovenia's second oldest University. It's located in the city of Maribor, which is known for its rich culture and scenic landscapes. It encompasses seventeen faculties that offer undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral study programs in Natural Science and Engineering, Business and Economics, Health Science, Arts, and Social Sciences. There are around 20,000 students at the university, which makes UM the second largest in Slovenia and is increasingly drawing international attention. It has an extensive library and modern sports facilities. As a member of Utrecht Network, University of Maribor collaborates actively with universities in EU and worldwide, based on numerous bilateral agreements.
