The University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) is the health sciences campus of the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) and is located in Jackson, Mississippi, United States. UMMC, also referred to as the Medical Center, is the state's only academic health science center.

The University of Mississippi Medical Center, located in Jackson, is the state's only academic health science center. UMMC includes seven health science schools: Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, Health Related Professions, Graduate Studies, Pharmacy, and Population Health. The Medical Center's three-part mission is to improve the lives of Mississippians by educating tomorrow's health care professionals, by conducting health sciences research, and by providing cutting-edge patient care. A major goal of the Medical Center is the elimination of health disparities in Mississippi, the poorest state in the U.S. UMMC offers a wide range of patient care services, and many of them are available nowhere else in the state. From sophisticated diagnostic imaging procedures to advanced treatments for cancer, UMMC offers a wide range of specialized care. The Medical Center's inpatient facilities include the state's only children's hospital and a wide range of adult and pediatric specialty and subspecialty programs.
